Endearing heroes, entertaining villains and comical cameos. In short, everything needed to make this a cheerful and charming conclusion to the trilogy. User-friendly controls are introduced and explained with patience and care. Looks great.
Again. The space travel component of the game doesn’t add anything except frustrations: Space is a distracting sandbox in what should be a linear platformer. Young’uns might need a bit of help with some of the puzzles presented to Clank.

The Ratchet & Clank series has always hovered on the edge of quality, held back by a few issues and a sense of familiarity that has always stopped the series short of being truly brilliant (except for Ratchet: Gladiator, of course, which was rubbish)...
