Plustek's eScan A150 allows end users to instantly power up the device for fast scanning. Its built-in 7" LCD touch screen is intuitive and offers a quick way to review or even crop targeted images, before delivering the final digitally captured data. People can send or save the final image in different file formats to multiple destinations such as: USB drive, network folder, mobile, e-mail or a variety of cloud service providers.

View
eScan allows you to validate the scanned images in the thumbnail mode. It also allows you to review each individual page in full page mode to crop, rotate, or even redact the page. If you are happy with the scanned thumbnail image, you are ready to deliver!

Save
eScan is loaded with 9 destinations to choose from: USB drive, network folder, mobile, eMail address, or variety of cloud (Dropbox, Google Drive, Evernote, Box, SharePoint or FTP). Once a destination is selected just enter your credentials, cheers!

This is surely the best designed product we've seen from Plustek: it's uncluttered, professional looking and seems solidly built. A button on the top edge lets you open up the mechanism to get at paper jams, or to replace the 50,000-page pad set - a spare...

Standing over a scanner or multifunction printer with a flat bed, manually scanning each side of each page at a time, can be a dreary chore. This is where a device like the eScan A150, with its dual-sided automatic document feeder, can come into its own...
Good Compact, big screen with a good UI, can scan directly to major cloud services, includes Abbyy OCR software...
Bad Convoluted initial set-up, no Ethernet cable included, very light colours aren't detected...
Bottom line The instructions are lacking, but persevere and the eScan A150 is a decent scanner with useful online features, ideal for digitising multi-page documents. There's some great third-party software thrown in too...
