The brushed aluminium finish on Iomega's Desktop Hard Drive is certainly a striking one. But, while it exudes a feeling of solidity, this drive actually weighs in at a reasonably lightweight 1.26kg. Its 34mm thickness beats the other fatties in the gro...

FireWire 800-equipped external hard disks tend to be faster than FireWire 400 or USB-only models, but are usually more expensive. We were surprised to find all three interfaces on Iomegas 320GB desktop hard disk, which costs just 39p per gigabyte...
