A handsome laptop (OK, tabletop) entertainment center. Hollywood-worthy screen. Brisk general-purpose performance. Cute remote control hides in ExpressCard slot.
Blu-ray and a TV tuner would be welcome additions. Graphics not up for hardcore gaming. Small cursor-control keys (unless you use the numeric keypads). Ample crapware.
For over a grand, we would have liked to have seen Blu-ray and/or ultra-fast gaming graphics, but the HP Pavilion dv7-2170us is a stylish slab thats surprisingly attractive anyway...
