The Canon BJC-50 is just half the size of an A4 page and weighs 900g. The BJC-50 prints at up to 5.5 pages per minute and features Canon’s Drop Modulation Technology™ for superb quality printouts. The BJC-50 has a built-in IrDA port for automatic infra-red communication with your PC. The IrDA port eliminates the need for the BJC-50 to be physically connected to your notebook. Just put your BJC-50 next to your laptop or PC and the data is sent directly to the printer. The built-in lithium-ion battery means that the BJC-50 can print without mains power, with a battery life capable of printing over 100 pages. A universal power adapter is supplied as standard. The optional IS-12 Colour Image Scanner Cartridge plugs into the BJC-50 in seconds to transform the Printer into a 360dpi 24 bit Colour Sheet feed Scanner. And when not travelling an optional Automatic paper feeder will allow you to use the Printer on your desk like any other desktop Printer (ASF-50).
