Perfectly balanced, the EOS 5DSR combines ultra-high resolving power with superb performance. High-speed continuous shooting at 5fps, outstanding 61-point high-density reticular AF and a newly developed mechanism to control mirror vibration and reduce camera shake, all work together to allow you to capture stunningly beautiful images in the clearest of detail. New function fans can also enjoy a number of first-time features, which include a Fine Detail picture style, a Time Lapse Movie function, a 1.3x and 1.6x Crop function, and the Custom Quick Control function, which provides more accessible customisation.

    The EOS 5DsR features an outstanding 50.6 Megapixel full-frame CMOS sensor with LPF effect cancellation. This larger than life sensor enables incredible image quality and overwhelming resolving power as it is the highest resolution in EOS history. This means even better detail, even in low light situations and at higher ISOs, with minimal noise and distortion and breathtaking dynamic range thanks to the sensor's wide cell pitch. The Ultra-high resolution allows dramatic trimming and is capable of creating detail-rich photographic materials suitable for retouching and composite photographs.

    Exceptional Precision
    The newly developed 61 point High Density Reticular AF boasts excellent autofocusing precision. this new AF system responds sensitively to subject distance. it can be easily altered by subtle changes in composition, realising high precision autofocusing that an ultra high resolution camera deserves.

    Low Light Performance
    Capture incredibly high detail, even when there is little light with an ISO range of 100-6400 (expandable to 12800). This large ISO range enables for photographers to shoot regardless of situation, making the EOS 5DsR a camera of choice for professionals.

    Suppressed camera shake
    The EOS 5DsR contains Canon's newly developed mechanism to control mirror with motor and cam system. Unlike a conventional spring type, this camera is equipped with a newly developed mirror control mechanism driven by motor and cams). The mechanism enables suppression of vibration that occurs during mirror motion, bringing out the full resolving power of the camera by decreasing camera-shake blur while softening the shutter-release sound.
